Elizabeth Liones, the third princess of the kingdom of Liones, after the coup d’etat made by the Holy Knights decides to flee and look for the now disappeared knights who call themselves The Seven Deadly Sins, whose order is made up of the worst criminals in the kingdom. One day she falls fainted in a tavern. Seeing Elizabeth, clients believe that he is one of the Seven Sins, and all but the young owner of the tavern and his companion Hawk – a pig who can speak – flee in fear. The young owner of the tavern reveals that he is Meliodas, the Sin of Dragon Wrath and the Captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. Elizabeth, impressed to find the first Sin, decides to look for the remaining others along with Meliodas and Hawk, who are transported on the back of Hawk’s mother, in order to find the remaining members of the Seven Deadly Sins
